Restoration is key to understanding metalwork of the past and present, once the many layers of paint are removed and the iron is sandblasted back to bare metal it can suddenly transport you back in time to when the piece was first constructed and sometimes get the feeling that the blacksmith who originally constructed the work could be standing beside you.
Nick offers a full conservation and restoration service.
